An approaching move

Bon and I are moving to Florida for the winters beginning with January 2010. We have signed a contract to purchase a Condo in a retirement community called On Top of the World. It is a 1 bedroom one bath with an additional room that could be used as a second Bedroom. There are many amenities including:
A fitness room at least as good as the one at Cardiac Rehab at the Hospital. I visited it and it was in use by a goodly number of people who seemed to be supportive of one another. It is important to me to have persons there to talk there. One of the things I don't like about Greenbelts Fitness Center is that it is so quite with persons engaged soley on the machines and not interacting. I don't really enjoy exercise so I need things to be as supportive as possible;
A billiards room. I love billiards and have missed playing over the years of my adulthood. It will be used;
Three Swimming rooms, a sauna, a large whirlpool and things like that. ;
A draw is free 18 hole Golf and a 9 hole par 3 golf course. I don''t play golf, but may get a cheap set of clubs so that I can play and have a nice walk like Mr Bagnall used to do years ago. I remember him fondly telling me that it was a nice way to get a good walk in each day or every other day. I don't know whether or not I will do this or not. It is something completely new. I haven't played since that PE course when I was a Freshman at UMD. I can't think of many things that make me walk so much as golf. It is having a purpose to do a task that is more than walking for walking's sake.
I still am finding it difficult to lose weight. It seems that I must be addicted to eating. I need to lose weight and it is so slow. I work out so it must be an over abundance of calories. I dislike my body's shape and don't like to be seen without clothes--as in a bathing suit. I hope that living in anarea that is open, sunny warm and with little rain (The Sunshine State.) will prove beneficial for my over all health.
Well, that's about it for this evening. Fare thee well.
